Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Colombo - Negombo (35kms)
Upon your arrival at Colombo airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Negombo, located just 35 kilometers away. Negombo is renowned for its pristine beaches, making it an ideal beach holiday destination in Sri Lanka. In the afternoon, you'll explore Negombo, visiting the fish market, Lagoon, Munneswaram temple, Manawari temple in Chilaw, and the historic fort. You'll spend the night at your hotel.
Day 2: Negombo - Sigiriya (195kms)
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, you'll set off on a drive to Sigiriya. Along the way, you'll visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, home to the largest gathering of tamed elephants globally. Upon reaching Sigiriya, you'll check in at your hotel. Later in the afternoon, you'll embark on an adventure to climb the iconic Sigiriya rock fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its historical significance and breathtaking landscapes. You'll stay overnight at your hotel in Sigiriya.
Day 3: Sigiriya - Kandy (90kms)
Following breakfast, your journey continues to Kandy. En route, you'll have the chance to explore a spice garden in Matale, providing insights into Sri Lanka's aromatic treasures. You'll board the hill country train, embarking on one of the world's most scenic train journeys. Upon reaching Nuwara Eliya, you'll check in at your hotel. Day 5: Nuwara Eliya – Yala (165kms)
Following breakfast, you'll depart for Yala. Along the way, you'll encounter the majestic Ravana waterfall. After reaching Yala, you'll check in at your hotel and have some leisure time. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a thrilling wildlife safari at Yala National Park. You'll spend the night at your hotel.
Day 6: Yala – South Beach (150kms)
After breakfast, you'll head to the west coast's beachfront hotel. En route, you'll enjoy a walking tour of Galle fort and visit a sea turtle conservation project. Later, you'll experience a boat tour at the Ramsar wetland of Madu. The rest of the day is free for you to relax at the beach resort. You'll stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 7: South Beach – Colombo airport (150kms)
Early in the morning, you'll embark on an exciting whale watching tour in Mirissa. Later, you'll be transferred to Colombo airport for your onward flight.
